We are trying to integrate LDAP with Jira Software , our organization have a jira administrator group in LDAP and we included only few members to that group. other members are there in jira user group. Our requirement is when we integrate jira with LDAP -automatically members of jira administrator group should be added as a jira software administrator and all others as jira software users. Is it possible?

Yes, click on the Administration cogwheel -> System -> "global permission" and map the LDAP Groups to Permissions like:

Jira System Administrators and Jira Administrators

General User access with be done via Administration cogwheel -> Applications -> Application access
