(When) Will Roadmaps be available as a feature for Jira Classic projects?

I was able to check out the Roadmaps feature in a newly created next-gen project but my team needs the robust feature set of classic projects, just with the Roadmap feature added. Is there a timeline on if/when this will be available on classic projects?

Agreed!
Besides, I do not see why this feature would only be reserved to nextgen projects, on technical standpoint.

If not, then do you know if using saved schemes (permissions, issuetype, etc...) in 'next gen' projects will be something available in the future?

Roadmaps for Classic projects would be extremely valuable.  Please consider adding support for this.

Hello,

I have not seen any notice about implementing the Roadmap feature in classic projects.
