Hello,
We are using JIRA Cloud in our team and we wanted to find perfect JIRA Checklist.
We tried subtasks which can be added to every ticket but often it's just an overkill. Every task does not really need to be estimated. We just needed a bunch list of things to consider an JIRA issue completed.
We couldn't find anything cool therefore decided to make our own Smart Checklist for JIRA Cloud
Now we want to share it with other people. It's free now so anyone can try.
It has simple minimalistic UI, Markdown support, and possibility to add simple instruction per each checklist item to simplify complicated things.

Maybe it will be useful for you as well.

For this to happen, the vendor needs to make it through an Atlassian assessment, and demonstrate that it is worth it for Atlassian to support it.
However, at the last Atlascamp, Atlassian made it very clear that they will not be adding any more type-2 add-ons to Cloud, so it won't be added in its current form.
So the question is now "will Checklist ever be implemented as a Connect add-on?"

I see our JIRA cloud version is 7.x ... and it looks like the add-on only goes up to 6.4.x. So, I'll hold my breath from it gets cloud support sometime I guess?

Hi Jeremy, The add-on you are referencing is not the same as the one mentioned in the question. However, both are server versions. If you are on the cloud, this add-on seems to do it for the moment: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.gebsun.plugins.jira.issuechecklist
