I am cloning the test cases from 1 project to another but when i see the clone test case, it doesnot have the test steps which are present in the original test case( which was cloned).

I click on 3 dots to the right and select clone from there-> select new project.

Am I missing any step while cloning which doesnot clone the test steps? Could you please help me here?

Hi @Sakshi Dewan and welcome to the community,

I'm Luka from codefortynine and if you are willing to use a third-party app our Deep Clone for Jira supports cloning Xray Test Steps.

To be able to clone test details you need to:

  • Create an API key in Xray following these instructions

  • In Jira, navigate to Apps > Manage your apps > Deep Clone > Third-party integrations

  • Submit the Client ID and Client Secret of the generated Xray API key

When configuring the clone job you need to select Clone Xray Test details under Advanced options.
