When importing from bitbucket, JIRA status dropdowns are empty

I'm trying to import my issues from a Bitbucket repository into an existing JIRA project.

I am able to map all values EXCEPT for statuses. When I try to map status values, the dropdowns are empty/unpopulated. All other dropdowns are fully populated by viable values.

I have a workflow selected for my JIRA project, and all issue types are associated with the workflow.

Am I missing something obvious?

I ended up deleting the project and started fresh. Now it works fine. Really not sure what the issue was, but is moot for my purposes now.
