When link issue, how can I control the dropdown list.

Hi all,

I have an question on link issue screen,

I need to restrict the link types based on issue type(Screen shot attached). For example, if Type is Requirement, then the drop down list should display “is a requirement of, Has Story, Has task….”. The drop down list will be changed based on Types(Requirement, Story, Task…).

Anybody have any idea/suggestion how to do that? Where to change code to add this logic?

This issue is reported in JIRA:

but not resolved so far. You can try Extended Schemes for JIRA - it allows to control dropdown list exactly as you expected by using Link Scheme. Add-on also comes with schemes for Priorities and Resolutions.
