In our Jira server instance, we noticed that when selecting the workflow drop down on the Jira Issue ticket screen, you cant scroll anymore using your mouse and have to use the scroll bar on the side of the screen. Is there a feasible way to fix this UI issue, since our workflow has over 20+ statuses to choose?
Hi,
One option I could think of is to zoom out the screen when performing the transition on the issue. 'Ctrl+-' should zoom out. Additionally you could could consider restricting transitions(using workflow conditions) to specific project roles, if possible, so that the number of workflow statuses are reduced on the view screen depending on the project role of the user.
Thanks for the proposed workarounds and currently our users are using the side scroll bar that is seen on the far right of the screen but still adds a big inconvenience for daily routine use. The workflow design is developed based on few internal business processes and the associated issue type serves for multiple purposes, which is why there are bunch of statuses in a single workflow.
Is there a customization or custom code that could be added in Custom HTML Administrative option, where a scroll bar can be dynamically displayed on dropdown menu's - [More] or [Workflow] in the issue type ticket screen, thereby fulfilling such customization requirement?
