I want to see a list of completed Initiatives. Where can I find that? I know in Portfolio, I can find a list of my current open Initiatives and JIRA has completed Epics but trying to see completed initiatives.

Hi Brie,

If you are using server/data-center offering of the Portfolio then following should help you and in case of cloud offering, you can use relevant documentation of the same concept.

You can use a combination of hierarchy and status filter to view a list of completed initiatives in Portfolio. First, make sure initiative is included in the hierarchy range in 3.x plan or set in the hierarchy filter in 2.x plan. And then set the status filter to show only done issues. You can refer the documentation links provided below.

Hierarchy range:

For 3.x plan,
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfolioserver/viewing-work-960719431.html

For 2.x plan,
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfolioserver/live-plans-802170499.html

Status filter:

For 3.x plan,
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfolioserver/filtering-issues-962968235.html

For 2.x plan,
You can find the status filter under More in the filter bar.

Note that, by default, Portfolio includes issues (initiatives) completed within the last 30 days only. Refer to the documentation in case you want to customize that.

If you want to see initiatives in Jira, then you can use JQL to filter the issues that you are looking for.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions.

Regards,

Portfolio for Jira Team.
