If you use Jira Software Cloud, you will always have the "latest" version of Jira. The version number doesn't matter if you use Cloud

Atlassian is constantly rolling out new versions but there will be many different versions running at any moment.
for addon version go to Jira settings > Apps > Manage apps > expand the app in question and look for version.

Exactly my point. You never know what version you are on but it will be recent whether it is latest or not.
