Where do completed issues go when the active sprint is closed?

I have a developer scrum board and at the end of the active sprint there are stories in a status considered as Done for that board.

When I close the active sprint, incomplete stories are moving to the next sprint.... where do the "Done" stories go?

They don't really go anywhere :)

The scrum board is just showing you the active tickets (or upcoming ones)

The 'Done' issues following the sprint completion will still be in JIRA, you can either search for these in the Issues->Search or use a Kanban board to view project issues.
