I need to create a a docker file for JIRA 7.2.0 to run in our ECS container at Amazon. To do so the linux .bin installer won't cut it. I can't use the suggested response.varfile option because this will always be a new install of JIRA. So what I am wondering is why I can't get a tar.gz verison of the latest Jira. Any suggestions?
You can download a tar.gz version from here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/update. Select TAR.GZ from the dropdown.
