Where is the Jira 7.2 tar file?

Is JIRA 7.2 still distributed as a tar.gz/zip?

On the fancy selector download page, I only see the .bin, which I don't want.

I don't want to use the installer.

You can download a tar.gz version from here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/update. Select TAR.GZ from the dropdown.
