Which issue types are considered in the velocity chart report?

In the velocity chart report, when calculating the completed or committed estimates, which issue types are considered? Thank you in advance.

All issues that are of a base type are sprint items.  Sub-tasks and Epics and layers above Epic are not sprint items, so they are ignored.  Sub-tasks are part of their parent, the estimate on the parent is assumed to include any sub-task.

 All parent tasks are considered. Estimates from sub-tasks are not included in the Velocity Chart's calculation.
