Which statistics to get from JIRA and how to do so?

Hi,

We started using JIRA/JIRA Agile for some months and we would like to get some information about how we are doing.

We are using JIRA for a project development, not ticket management tool.

Which kinds of statistics could we use?

How to get them?

Is there any way to generate customized reports from JIRA?

It's a quick and simple set it and forget it solution to get weekly (or any other period) team reports, just like you ask for. The best thing is, you get them regularly daily, weekly or monthly via e-mail as HTML and PDF in case you don't want to check the web interface.

There are many standard Measures that are created during data import to eazyBI (see https://docs.eazybi.com/display/EAZYBIJIRA/Data+model#Datamodel-Measures) as well as you can create custom Measure calculations by defining the formula (see https://docs.eazybi.com/display/EAZYBI/Calculated+members). Is Team a custom field in JIRA? Then it could be imported as dimension and you could use any measure to aggregate that by Team dimension. Or are the Teams organised by JIRA groups? In this case please see example report https://docs.eazybi.com/display/EAZYBIJIRA/Reports+using+JIRA+user+groups.
