We have a huge cloud instance with a few project templates that we have carefully created and maintain. Over the past month, we have seen increasing activity of the fields and their order being changed frequently, effectively changing the template. We do not have any Trusted users, only few site admins, and we are completely in sync. Are we missing something? Is there any access that needs to be limited?
Only Jira administrators can change screens, so it's someone with admin rights doing this.
Check which groups have the global permission to administrate.
Team-managed projects do not use screens, but the project administrators can re-arrange them layout a bit. Those changes are local, the layouts are not shared with other projects.
@Rishikesh Karnik There's a possibility many projects might be sharing some Jira features. So, one change in one can affect the others without you realizing. But when it comes to screen, only Site Admins and Org Admin can edit it.....Also, check if a user created an automation that changes values on fields in the screen.
