Who can see the Vote button on an issue?

Viorel Ioan Pacurar April 18, 2018

Hello,

Can't seem to find some exact info on who can see the Vote issue button?

Can this be set through a permission scheme or the option will be 'by default' available for everybody.

My need is to have the voting button available only for the customer/developers but not for testers.

The same question applies to who can see the votes and the voters.

Thank you.

The presence of the vote button is a system-wide configuration. Cog > System > Allow users to vote on issues.

Hi,

You can set this up at the specific Permission Scheme:

Thanks

Hey Gezmin,

Thank you for the quick answer.

There is still one thing that I'm not fully convinced with: the testers can see all the issues, but will they also be able to see the vote button? If tester A reports an issue and tester B and C can see that issue, will they also be able to see and select the vote button?

Thank you.
