It seems that few days ago Atlassian removed such fields like worklogDate, worklogAuthor and worklogComment from the fields searchable via JQL.
How to reproduce that?
1. Create a new next-gen project
2. Log time
3. Try to search for that issue using the mentioned fields.
Expected results: the issue can be found
Actual results: the issue cannot be found
The next-gen projects created earlier still works as expected, i.e. issues can be found using the mentioned fields.
Is there any reasoning behind that? Or maybe it is a bug?
If you are encountering problems searching for issues in JQL using the worklogDate, you can add the time tracking field to the issue type and the issues will then appear in JQL.

OK, at least we know it is a bug, not a feature.
