Why are some issues missing in Kanban Board?

I have a total of 53 issues in a filter, that I used to create a Kanban Board, but the Kanban only shows 51.

Specifically, When I open Columns under 'board settings' I see all 24 that are 'In progress', but when I see the front page of the Kanban there are two issues missing - ie. only 22 shown as 'in progress'. 

No matter what I do, the same two issues aren't shown in board.

Kanban boards also have a "sub-filter" and thus it could be that you don't see the issues because of the sub-filter
