Why can i resolve stories with subtasks but not stories without subtasks?

perfect. It was with one of the transitions to the done status. I was able to function as in the other transitions like from other transitions. Thank you.

I'd check your workflow to make sure the post-function that sets the resolution is correct. Perhaps there is an error in the logic for your workflow transition's post-function.
