I cerated a kanban board and draged work flow status's on to the column but when I open the board, the tickets do not show.
Even though when I look at the board in configuration mode the status's on the column confiruration screen, it shows the number of tickets currently with that status
The filter is the simple, all tickets in the project, that is created when the board is created.

I only see that message when I move one of the Statuses that has tickets in that status, out of the column back to the unmapped staatus column.
I have not build any quick filters yet. If it was a quick filter, there is a message that says 'issues may be hidden by a quick filter'
The message I see when I open the board is 'no issues are currently vissable'
This is the only project/board where I have had this problem
Do you see the message some issues/task are not displayed due to filter? Also check the if any quick filter is slected or not.
