Why is Epic Link greyed out on a very simple project ?

Hello,

For business purpose I need to get an export of all the issues figuring in two epics.

I used Jira before and this seemed very simple with the issues filter - but not with the new version !

Here is what I have when I want to filter my issues by epic.

I have a single project with simple untouched structure. I can't believe this is not possible - what am I doing wrong ?

Hello @Maxime L

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for our late reply.

Next-gen projects work in a different way than Classic projects indeed. When speaking about Epics, they are connected in a different way in both projects, as explained in this documentation.

You can use the Epic Link field to filter your issues based on its Epics in Classic projects, however, you must use the Parent field in Next-gen projects, just as explained in this link:

parent = EPIC-123

Let us know if you have any questions.

My filters set. A project is defined and I filter only Story and Tasks which have an Epic field.

I tried with JQL, didn't work (empty result for EpicLink=ABC-123)Screenshot 2020-08-27 at 21.31.05.png
