Why isn't the MDSF plugin displaying in the Issue Collector?

I'm trying to create an Issue Collector using the Multiple Dependent Select Field (MDSF) in a JIRA project and the MDSF isn't showing up as one of the field selections. Is anybody else experiencing this and if so, do we know why it isn't enabled for the Issue Collector?

Does the issue collector even let users pick custom fields? I don't think so right?

Yea it does, if you select the "Custom" template.
