Why my new custom field template in not showing on already created issues?

Hello. I created a new custom field template. It is showing correctly on all new issues however on already created issues only the title of the field is showing (template is not). Did I miss a step somewhere?

The field must contain some value

what is the field type? if possible share screenshot

it is a text field (multi line), it has a screen and a context. And it has the value of the template (text)
