Why my subtasks are not visible under Jira board

We are not able to see the subtasks on jira board

Welcome to the community.

1. If the project is company managed then follow these steps:
   
   In board settings; Set swimlanes to stories, not queries.
   
   
2. The sub-tasks might be being filtered out of the board, which we fixed using a better filtering:
   
   Filter tasks using issuetype in (Task, Sub-Task) OR issuetype in (standardIssueTypes(), subTaskIssueTypes()).

If your board filter is not filtering-in sub-tasks, you will not see them on the board. 
Any quick filters on the board could hold a JQL phrase that would filter out sub-tasks. 

Please start by providing the board filter so we can look at it. You find this under Board Configuration - General

If it's a Scrum board it's normal that it's not displayed in the backlog, but should be displayed in the current sprint section. It's because it do not make sense to plan a story without all the subtasks under it.

I agree, but in our sprint board, we can only see tasks, bugs and epics, but not subtasks under type

What is the query use in the board ? Does it include the subtask issue type ?
