Will Roadmaps ever be added to Jira Software Server version?

I would love to use the roadmaps in Jira Software but I am on the Server version not the Cloud version - will it ever be added to server?

Unfortunately, at the moment it only pertains to Jira Cloud and Jira server doesn't have this roadmap feature yet.

I can see that Atlassian already has a feature request to implement it in the feature and you can check it here JSWSERVER-19614.

I strongly recommend voting for the issue and keep watching it for any updates. Additionally, it is a nice approach to give your comments there so Atlassian can understand how this feature would have a positive impact on your business case.

Additionally, I checked one post from an Atlassian team member that for anyone looking for this kind of Roadmap feature in the Server versions of Jira, you might want to take a look at the Atlassian Marketplace site.  A quick search shows 20 different titles for that term that are specific to Jira Server: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=server&product=jira&query=roadmap
