Will an annual quote act as a placeholder for plugins/apps?

Hi,

I´ve been told several times by Atlassian staff that an active annual quote will act as a placeholder for trials on a Cloud site. For example, my Jira Software trial ends on the 22nd, but the Atlassian quote is valid until the 30th, then the trials will extend to that period.

But, I just thought about plugins and apps, does the same rules apply or will the plugin expire even tho we have an active quote?
