Wondering why a task in the sprint is showing up in a search with a parameter of Sprint = empty

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
As you can see the issue at the bottom of the screenshot is in Sprint 2 but I have searched for only those issues that have an empty Sprint field. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.
