Work Management Task Allocation Bug

We are experiencing a bug on our Jira Work Management board where it is allocating tasks incorrectly while moving them around the kanban board.

Scenario: We are in a meeting review the task list and Person A is screensharing the board and looking at Person B tasks.

The task in question is allocated to Person B, however, when Person A moves that task from In Progress to Review, it then gets auto re allocated to Person A when it should remain as Person B's task.

How do we fix this?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

This configuration is part of the Workflow configuration.

In your workflow step configured on the Kanban Board, there is the configuration for "Post-Functions", which basically are tasks/updates performed when an issue transitions between status.

That configuration can be changed by removing the "Update assignee to current user" configuration from your workflow.
