Work flow Custom Status' not showing in reports/widgets

I have created two status' (SQA and UAT) in a custom work flow for JIRA Agile. Somehow these status' are not being recognized by widgets like "Pie Chart" etc. They still show reports split by To Do, In Progress and Done. has anyone run into this issue?
