Workload pie chart shows backlog as "none"

Deleted user August 8, 2024

I created a workload per sprint overview in which I can see how many workload we have scheduled/done and for named sprints that works fine, but for some reason the backlog shows up as "None". The data in itself is correct, but it kinda annoys me that there isn't a clear indication it is the backlog

Hi @[deleted] ,

I get it. Sprint value is empty hence the "none" value. I'm afraid you can't affect the label in the basic pie chart with configuration.

If it bugs you I would probably have limited the filter of the pie chart to issues that have a sprint applied and then chosen other gadgets to present the time logs of both non-sprinted and sprinted issues.

Sprint is however a multiselect field so I wonder if a pie chart is the best choice here. I suspect if an issue is in two sprints the time spent will be presented as a duplication in the pie chart.

If you work a lot with timelogging I would recommend you looking into apps on the marketplace for improved reporting around timelogs. The apps from Tempo is really good but I am sure there are also other reporting addons that could bring value as well in this area.

Of course via the project menue > reporting you have the out of the box reporting for time tracking, but that is not split by sprint.

best regards

Lisa
