[Zephyr] Access to screenshots after finishing/closing execution

Christian Wöhler January 17, 2019

Hallo everyone,

first of all, I am new to zephyr. :)

I have a test case in the cycle and execute it. During the execution I append screenshots with commentaries and commentaries to each test step. At the end I finish the execution, so nobody can edit the test case any more.

After that I want to access the screenshots, but I can't simple click it. The whole test case is read only. I can reopen the execution to access the screenshots. But by closeing it, I have to add execution time.

Is it possible to access the screenshots with the commentaries after finishing/closing the execution?

@Christian Wöhler Can you try to access your project's Test Executions using the information on this Zephyr documentation page: https://zephyrdocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ZFJ0300/pages/31653917/Search+Test+Executions

and then try to access the attachments related to your Test Execution.

@Taranjeet SinghThank you for the quick answer. I didn't know this function, yet. But it looks like it's just another way to the same view.

The executionWorkflowStatus of the test case is COMPLETED.

I appended a part of a screenshot. The whole detail view is disabled. Perhaps it helps.

@Christian Wöhler It may be a permission issue as well. Can you verify if you have the required permissions to browse test cycle and test executions, in your JIRA project: https://zephyrdocs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ZFJ0300/pages/31653908/Zephyr+Permission+Scheme

@Taranjeet SinghI have all the permissions, but I still have no access to the completed test execution. Can you confirm that it is possible, or could it not be possible?

Thanks for your help!
