Hi,
I have following 2 queries. it will be great if anyone can answer them:
1. Is there any limit on number of test cases in a test in Zephyr for JIRA?
2. Also, if not then is there any best practice to group test cases in Zephyr for Jira from usability standpoint; as currently if no of test cases are more than 100, it makes very cubersome to view and scroll them or manage them?
Thanks,
NK
Hi Meera,
1) There is no software-releated limit on the number of testcases in Zephyr for JIRA. The limit is inherited by the capacity of your JIRA Server. Each Zephyr testcases is a regular issue type, so you can have as many testcases as your JIRA instance can handle issue types.
2) Organiztation best practicess really vary by need. The trick is to be able to search for them, as you can use issue searches to select testcases to add to testing cycles. You can use components, versions or any combination of custom fields to organize your testcases.
Kind Regards,
Chris
