abilitate user to a single project

Hello,

I need to enable a user to access a single project with the ability to create components and edit issues he just created.

I tried to enable the user to a project, but he can't create components, can't edit issues and when he creates a new issue the user doesn't have all fields available as Components.

How can give these permissions?

Hello,

Do you want a user to be able to create a component or choose a component from a list of components? If you want the user to create a component, then you have to give Project Admistrator permission to the user.

If you want a user to edit an issue, the user must have the Edit Issues permission in the project permission scheme.

Thanks for the reply, but I still have a dubt. Where do I need to put the user as administrator for the projects?

I go in project page and I select the icon of the project settings. Than I need to add user in Users and Roles --> Administrators or in Permissions ->Administer Projects?

With the config in image noone can't view the project. The jira-gdpr is a group with the user interested.

Add Users to a role --> Type in their names then add to the role options that are displayed.

I added also a single user to access the project with 'Add Users to a role', I selected the username and selected Aministrator as the Role but the project remains not visible.

To allow users to view and access the project I need to insert the username in the user role. With this modification, the user can access the project but can't add components.

Componets are added by project admins. For example, the person you added to the project role as ADMINISTRATOR can add components.

To edit issues, your user must have the EDIT ISSUE project permissions.
