Hi,
We use a document control system and the document numbers are always of the form:
XX-NNNNNN-XX where X is A-Z and N is 0-9.
Is it possible for the JIRA wiki-text renderer to spot these document numbers and auto-convert them into a link - i.e. http://doc_system/XX-NNNNNN-XX ?
Alternatively is there some sort of add-on that could facilitate this?
Thanks for any advice/help

I've already read that. Does that approach not require Confluence or a JIRA installed locally rather than the cloud?
I have some software skills, but I don't know what "there is a plugin point in JIRA called macro" means - how do I find this "plugin point"?
It's not clear to me from the link you sent whether Felix - the primary protagonist - is any the wiser at the end of it.
