I am looking for a solution.

I have a confluence page for tech debt Jira tickets using Jira filter to see ticket status.  From this list, technical team work on tickets and that get closed.  This list is growing and carry forward after releases.  I don't want to delete closed tickets from the Confluence document.  Is there a way to automatically move closed tickets from the main Confluence document to another Confluence document or some other method to solve this issue?

Thank you.

Hey @Rogerio Para

I assume that the result of a Jira Filter (JQL) is shown on the confluence via a macro.
Advice in this regard to adjust the filter and to no longer show the closed issues in the filter.

And than put a jira-filter with the closed issues on a other Confluence page.

Regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,

Thank you for your message.  Yes, I used Jira Filter (JQL) on the confluence via a macro.  I am not clear on your second answer "than put a jira-filter with the closed issues on a other Confluence page".  Are you referring to copy/paste all closed items in another page?  If this is not true, please share details.  If this is true, is there a way to automate the process to avoid manual work and possible errors?

Thanks, Rogerio

Hi, changing a status and closing issues is done in Jira.
By creating a filter containing the closed issues you can show the result of this filter in Confluence.

So you've in Confluence a list with the issues where the technical team is working on and a list with the issues that are closed.
