I am JIRA administrator. A user mentions that he has a hyperlink to a JIRA Agile rapidboard (including board ID / board number) but he cannot open the rapidboard. This is probably due to (private) permissions to the underlying filter. Can anyone tell me, how I can open that rapidboard to help this user? Or how I can find out what the underlying filter is, so that I can investigate that filter? thank you.
I agree that it is usually a filter permissions issue. If you can access the board by clicking the link (administrator), then you can resolve it by going to Board>Configure and change the permissions on the filter. If you can't, then you need to tell someone who does have permissions to make the change.
hi Damon, thank you for your reply. Alas, nobody can access the board... I investigated some more and found out that the user deleted the underlying filter (in order to replace it by a new filter, which is not the way to do that). I think the board is corrupt. I hope Atlassian will add a check when a user deletes a filter : 'is this filter used by a board?'.
