I have an issue (defect) that I changed the status from Closed - Cannot Reproduce back to To Do, but cannot figure out how to remove the Cannot Reproduce.
How do I remove the Cannot Reproduce resolution?
Hi @Angela Schmitz ,
When closing a issue we choose Resolution in maximum cases.
So Please go to Final status (Green colored) . and identify how may transitions are connected to other Statuses from Green colored status.
Select each and every transition from Green colored status
1. Post Functions
2. Add Post function
3. Update issue field
4. Choose Issue field as" Resolution"
5. Find Value as "None"
6. Add
7. Publish Draft workflow
The resolution will be cleared from next time onwards.
Thank you so much for your time! We will try this!

Hi @Angela Schmitz ,
I believe there is a post function missing in your workflow that should clear the resolution field when reopened. To prevent this situation in the future, your admin should add this post function to transitions in which the issues are reopened.
To fix the existing issues, you can identify problematic issues, add a temporary self reflecting transition(s), add a post function that clears the resolution, and then remove the post function(s).
You can refer to this article for detailed instructions:

Hi @Angela Schmitz Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
To have resolution automatically set or remove for an issue, you could add a post-function on that transition on the workflow that sets this field to the value you wish.
I hope it will help you.
