changing database to PostsgreSQL

I am going to change the data base to  PostsgreSQL.  I have Fisheye installed.  Will changing the database have any effect on Fisheye?  Please let me know if I need to do any additional configuration to Fisheye or anything else after I change the database.

You are going to change the database of Fisheye, or jira?

Since the Tag of this question is Jira Software.

When you change your database, you will have to point your application to the new database in your cfg file.
