Hi,

This is Majid @ Exalate.

The flow you described should be possible using Jira Automation or by using an issue sync app such as Exalate. You can use the local mode of Exalate to connect the two projects, use a JQL trigger to automatically send the tickets over and maintain a sync between the two.

Thanks

Majid

Hello @Alixanne FERAUD

We developed an application called Copy & Sync that does exactly what you need. It will allow you to copy and synchronize issues between projects with all informations you need (comments, status, attachments, fields, etc.).

All changes made on one size will be made on the other.

You can take a look at what our app can do in our documentation (some of it).

Let me know if you need help with that!

Hi Alixanne,

Sure you should be able to do that. Create a trigger that will Clone or Copy the Issue. Then add a step (i.e. component) to the rule Link the two projects.

So, after you do the action to Clone or Create a new issue, the add a Branch for Most Recently Created Issue. Under the branch add an action for Link Issue. Choose Trigger issue.

Hello @Alixanne FERAUD ,

Welcome to community!

Yes it is possible through setting up automation rule, could you please elaborate a little on your use case that include: desired trigger , Condition and action item to perform. I may try to help you in configuring the setup for automation rulr.

Also please help understand the below line to help you better:

when changes are made on the firts, update is made on the 2nd

Have a great day!
