comment not shown in email notification when file is attached ?

when adding an attachment, I have the option to include a comment with the attached file ,

the problem is in the email notification sent , the comment is not shown , only the file name that is attached !

is this normal , or I have a problem in my system ?

Yes... Jira wont include the file itself in the notification unless you explicity enter it into your comment (at least in its default setting).

For example.. if you inclued an image as an attachment, you would need to add

!image.jpg! 

in your comment. You might also need to have wiki mode enabled in the Field Configuration.

Thanks Jon for your comment, maybe I was not clear enough ..

I am not expecting to see the file itself ..my problem is that I don't see the comment I wrote , I see the filename only ..but im expecting to see the filename and the comment I added.
