Hello,
we' re currently using a confluence and jira (A), and another team in the company holding is also using jira and confluence (B) (separate instances).
They're using confluence too litlle and we're wondering about exporting all their contents and import into our confluence A.
(The B jira is highly customized, so merging Jira A and B is discarded for now)
The questions are
can we have a confluence integrated with 2 separate jira instances?
if that is the case, how confluence manages the jira macro to get data from the linked jira instances? should the users parametrize the jira macro to set this?
You can like one Confluence to 2 JIRA instances. And yes, there will be 2 application links and one will be marked primary.
By default, the macro will use the primary application link but the users will have a dropdown to pick the other one, if needed.
Never tried two JIRA to one confluence but I guess it can be done with two different Application Links.
