custom Email Handler to skip deletion of email

We have a requirement to process incoming email and create a ticket but it should not delete the email.  With the existing jira features it can not be achieved. Can we achieve this by using Power Scripts/ ScriptRunner plugin. Vendor documents doesn't indicate whether they delete email or not after reading the email.

Dear @Chandra Sekhar ,

you can achieve this upfront. Configure your mail account to either strictly forward a copy (not bounce) of any incoming mail to another account, or by a custom rule to create a copy in another folder. What's possible, depends on your mail server.
