custom Multi-line text field not showing in description area new issue view

Looking to add a custom multi-line text field to show up in the Description Area of the new issue view.

* Created the new customer multi-line text field

* associated to the screen

Can only see it in the Primary or Secondary areas of the new issue layout. Description area is not even visible in the Issue Layout editor.

as far as I can tell the description area is not visible in any of the Issue layout screens for other issues.

Hi @Adam Guenther ,

New features in Cloud are usually rolled out gradually (in waves) to the customers' instances and it can just be that your instance does not have the "description fields area" available yet.

However, since there is not much we can do to help you in here,  I have created a support request (JST-483152) on your behalf so that a Support Engineer can check the requirements and see if this feature can already be enabled  for your instance.
