'customfield_39762' cannot be set. it is not on the appropriate screen or unknown.

tried this not working. anyone pls give some suggestions on this error.

Hi @p_ vinay ,

Seems the custom field is not present in Create/Edit screen of the project issue type. Please add the field to the screen and retry.

i.e. 

• Open the Project where the issue is happening.
• Go to Project Settings.
• Click on Screens
• Click on the name of your screen to expand.  You should see something like the screen below:
  
  
  
  
• Click on the name of the screen next to Create issue/Edit Issue.
  
• Finally, add the missing field to the list. Make sure the field is added in View screen also.
