Notice in this child page that there are time periods that have to run out during this process, so it is not possible to immediately delete the organization.

If you are referring to the multiple areas that need to be reviewed, I expect that is because an Organization has many parts and Atlassian wants to ensure that you have reviewed each one and properly removed it. If it was just a single button to delete everything that could result in customers losing information that they did not realize would be lost.

If you are referring to the time periods that must run out, I expect that is to ensure that if a custom requests cancellation/deletion by mistake those time periods give them time to correct their mistake. If Atlassian immediately started deleting entities with no grace periods, it would be a nightmare to try to recover the data if the customer had made a mistake.

Those are just my opinions. I am not a representative of Atlassian.

You can follow the official instructions stated here: Delete your organization 

As noted in the article, you'll have to remove/delete products, which usually takes some time (due to retention policies). You also have a timeline listed/displayed in the article.
