i am using below in the jira automation to get the difference in days for creation date and resolved date.
{{issue.resolved.diff(issue.created).days}}
Hi @Nirmal Kumat ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community,
I think it will work you need to create new text field to hold the difference value.
I found the similar thread and it is answer by @John Funk

@Mayur - any idea if and how we can accomplish the difference of creation and resolution date by using a Jquery ?

Hey @Nirmal Kumat ,
Have you considered using Jira's native "Resolution Time Report". This calculates it in the same way as it checks the difference between an issue's Resolution Date and Created date. It also provides you with trends in the average time taken to resolve issues.
I hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
George
