eSign button is always enabled. Can we make it available based on workflow

I am finding eSign button is always enabled. Can we make it available (show/hide or enable/disable) based on workflow conditions ?

eSign Vendor Update:  eSign app has recently been enhanced to support a finalize function.    Once Signatures are Finalized on an issue no further signatures may be captured (and the Sign button is removed). See Recent Changes (August 2021) 

eSign does integrate with the Jira workflow to enforce that Signatures may only be captured on configured Issue Workflow States.  The Sign button will popup a warning if a user attempts to sign on a disallowed issue status, informing them of which statuses signatures are permitted on.   Allowed status codes are configured in eSign Project Settings.
