export user data center to cloud

my client want to export user from data center to cloud.
what happend if i export user's that exist ?
will the export impact to existing user's (on data center) ?

Hi Adithya,

When migrating from Jira Data Center to Cloud, a few things will happen.

If the user already has an Atlassian account, for example, the account you used to login here at Atlassian Community, then the migration assistant will map the account based on an exact match of the email.

If no user can be found, a new user will be created.

With respect to the existing user profile on-premise, there are no changes.
