Hi @Peter
it mainly depends on what you want to achieve.
As a first step, you can use Application Links to link the two Jira instances together. The main features this brings I'd say is that you can use issue links between the issues of both instances as well as access the issue in gadgets on dashboards to generate reports across multiple instances (as described in the article you've linked).
If you want to go beyond that and actually synchronize issues between the instances, you can use solutions like @Diana_Architect_ZigiWave or @Ismael Jimoh suggested.
I hope that helps,
Matthias.
PS: I'm part of the team behind Backbone Issue Sync. If you're more interested in that way, let us know.
An alternative if you want to combine it is you could upgrade your license to a premium cloud account.
This allows you have 2 Cloud instances and you can then use an add-ons such as Excalate or Backbone to sync the data between the servers if needed.
This is an alternative to what was suggested by @Mohamed Benziane .

Hi,
Here is a good starting point to merge two jira cloud instances

@Peter hi! You can also use external tools to connect and sync the two Jira instances. Tools like ZigiOps can help you achieve it. It's a no-code integration platform that can help you connect the two in a few clicks and transfer/sync various data. It's a fully customizable tool so you can tailor it to fit specific use cases. It reads the schema dynamically and can sync bi-directionally any field. Feel free to check it out and even book a demo to see how it works.

Hi all,
I found the below link but not too sure about it as we use Cloud not Data center. The idea wasn't to merge but to keep them autonomous, yet connected and interoperable as the link describes. how would i go by doing this? Do i need to purchase any marketplace apps? Do i need Jira premium for the second cloud instance?
