Like to do a search like "Project was <project name>", but it is not possible to create history searches on projects.
Reason, issues has been move to another project and now users wants to see a list of issues that was in the old project.
Any idea?
You could write your own JQL function, either as a plugin or by using Scriptrunner. You would then be able to use the function in any issue search or filter.
Hi Ulrika,
I believe with the help of development , issue history maintains records in Field, old values and new values,
with the help of https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/latest/com/atlassian/jira/issue/history/ChangeItemBean.html
API you can easily find out the history of an issue where you can trace the names of project whether the issue has been moved from one project to another.

Onkar Ahire!

Thanks for answer and it seems to be possible to get the history using API or SQL.
But my intension was to use it inside the JIRA Gui, in issue search. But I guess it is not possible?
